This is a two-part workshop (April 21 & June 2).
Part 1 – History of vegetable gardening, planning and designing vegetable plots, plot preparation, in situ seed sowing of early season crops, and sowing seeds indoor for warm season crops.
Part 2 – Examining previously sown seedlings and planting out, in situ seed sowing of warm season crops, review of individual vegetable plans. Wrap up lecture – soil building, pest identification and management, end of season crops for sowing in situ.
Space is limited; registration and pre-payment required.
Participants must attend both workshops. Please bring a bag lunch.
