Our last open Sunday of the season is October 10th.
Take a tour of the garden, then enjoy tea and cake in the Gardeners’ Bothy, our new facility to welcome visitors.

- On display, view ‘Botanical Portraits’ – Photography from the Garden and Studio, by Photographer Lori Adams.
- Join Cold Spring Resident, Susan Sapanara for an introduction to Botanical Art and Illustration in our new workshop space, from noon to 4pm. Having graduated from the New York Botanical Garden with a Certificate with Distinction, Susan now teaches at NYBG as well as exhibiting her work around the country. Sunday’s visitors can view some of Susan’s artwork and watch as she demonstrates some techniques for illustrating specimens in watercolor and graphite in the Botanical Tradition.
Registration is limited to three, two-hour sessions;
10am-12pm, 12:30-2:30pm, and 3-5pm.

Buried Treasures – All About Bulbs
Saturday, October 30th, 9am – 1pm
$60/$40 (Stonecrop members)
A fun and informative workshop where you learn fascinating facts about different bulbs, tubers, corms. Learn to naturalize bulbs in the woodland or lawn. Take home bulbs to plant in your yard. Pot up Paperwhites to take home to bloom during the winter months.
